Hard to believe the weekend is over and we are heading home. Funny how our cozy Okemo condo feels more like our true home these days. After dinner and spirited conversations about which trails were best or who got how many runs in that day, we often head outside again for a snow shoe with the dogs to the play area. Our non-skiing visitors really enjoyed the short walk over to the Sugar House for the BBQ lunch. Everyone gathered there in time for the music in late day. Some did the 5-minute hike from the condo across the trail and others skied or boarded in. How great for my parents to be on the mountain with us. Our Kettlebrook location was the perfect choice. Ah the Finnish sauna in our master suite is the best space of all and a great way to end the day. Now with our lungs full of fresh Vermont air and tired legs we leave all the gear stored in the ski room till next weekend.
